This spectacular cave was discovered when an mine tunnel intersected the cave. The cave has 100% humidity and has a temperature of 136 degress F (58 C), so explorers can only stay in the cave a few minutes at a time. The giant crystal beams are made of gypsum and measure up to 36 feet (11 m). The cave is located about 1,000 feet (300 m) underground.
